Join a Nordic team where business insight, technology, and collaboration come together to create better solutions for customers, partners, and colleagues.
If you are motivated by understanding how business processes work, improving them through technology, and collaborating with different stakeholders, this could be the role for you.
About the role | Bridging business needs and technology
As a System Business Developer, you will play a key role in translating business needs into solutions that create value for customers, partners, and colleagues. Working as part of our Nordic IT Core Systems team, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, integration partners, and developers to ensure high-quality deliveries and continuous improvement of our systems and processes.
You will combine business analysis, coordination, testing, and solution development support, helping us increase both speed and quality as we continue our journey towards more agile ways of working.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Translating business needs into clear requirements and user stories.
- Acting as the primary link between business stakeholders, developers, and external partners.
- Coordinating and performing testing to ensure solution quality.
- Supporting incident analysis and continuous process improvements.
- Contributing to agile ways of working and improving team delivery processes.
The role offers a high degree of ownership and influence. You will have the opportunity to shape both solutions and ways of working while contributing to the continuous development of our systems and processes.
The position is based in Aarhus. We value collaboration and typically work from the office 3 days of the week, as we believe physical presence strengthens teamwork, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge sharing, while also working closely with colleagues across Sweden and Denmark.
About you | Curious, collaborative, and business-minded
Success in this role comes from understanding both the business perspective and the system perspective. You are naturally curious and enjoy understanding how processes, systems, and people interact. Rather than waiting for answers, you take initiative and actively seek them out. You are comfortable navigating different stakeholder groups and can build trust through clear communication and a collaborative approach.
We imagine that you bring:
- Experience in business analysis, requirements management, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of business processes and how systems support them.
- Professional experience from the insurance industry.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Experience with testing and quality assurance activities.
- Knowledge of agile ways of working such as Scrum, Lean, or similar.
As a person, you are pragmatic, approachable, and a team player. You enjoy working together towards shared goals and believe that the best solutions are created through collaboration and continuous improvement.
To succeed in the role, you must be fluent in both Danish and English, written as well as spoken.
