About the role | Building scalable Nordic data platforms
As Azure Data Engineer, you will become part of a highly skilled cross-functional team working closely with Product Owners, Architects, developers, and business stakeholders across the Nordics.
You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based data platforms and integrations that support Marketing Automation and MarTech solutions across Tryg and Trygg-Hansa.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Storage
- Developing backend integrations and APIs supporting data exchange across platforms
- Designing and optimizing SQL solutions, including stored procedures and performance-tuned queries
- Implementing real-time data pipelines using Apache Kafka and Azure Event Hub
- Managing infrastructure through Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles
- Supporting CI/CD and DevOps processes in GitLab
- Monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines and backend systems
- Collaborating closely with business stakeholders and technical teams across Nordic countries
About you | Collaborative and technically strong
To succeed in this role, it is important that you have strong technical capabilities combined with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work across teams and stakeholders.
We imagine that you:
- Have hands-on experience within data engineering, integrations, or backend development
- Have hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure Data Services
- Are experienced with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL, and Terraform
- Have experience with APIs, CI/CD, and GitLab
- Understand data modeling, warehousing, and scalable cloud solutions
- Have experience with Kafka, Event Hub, Docker, and Kubernetes (AKS)
- Work in a structured and proactive way
- Communicate fluently in English and preferably a Nordic language.
