If you are driven by shaping strategic direction, challenging senior leadership, and ensuring disciplined, high‑quality delivery, you may be the next Head of Transformation Office in Tryg. You will be at the heart of a major financial transformation, with an ambitious agenda to build a future-ready system landscape, processes, and organization - and you will play a pivotal role in making it happen.
About the role | Strategic clarity and disciplined delivery
As Head of Transformation Office, you will lead Tryg’s central Transformation Office team within Strategic Finance and Transformation - a unit reporting directly to the CFO. You will play a critical role in ensuring that strategic initiatives are sharply defined, rigorously prioritized, and delivered with excellence.
You will work closely with subject‑matter experts across the business and create the structure, insights, and decision support needed to drive impact at scale.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Bringing analytical curiosity and a structured problem‑solving mindset to complex strategic issues
- Developing high‑quality executive materials that distill complexity into clear, actionable insights
- Collaborating with content experts while confidently challenging direction and assumptions
- Ensure the right topics are brought to senior leadership at the right time
- Asking sharp “so what?” and “what must be true?” questions to ensure clarity, focus, and strategic coherence
- Maintaining transformation budget and status reporting - ensuring strong financial transparency, focused agendas, and clear, insight-driven updates that enable confident senior‑level decisions
- Designing and driving the governance rhythm that keeps the transformation aligned and moving - from steering committees to deep dives, ensuring each forum has a clear purpose and impact
- Identifying emerging risks and opportunities early, and turning them into structured decision points that sharpen direction rather than slow progress
- Acting as a hands‑on leader who supports, coaches, and elevates the team in day‑to‑day delivery
In this role, you will be a vital part of the successful finance transformation, with ample opportunity for setting direction. You will operate at the intersection of strategy and delivery, where your analytical rigor and ability to influence senior stakeholders will be essential.
About you | Consulting mindset with strategic influence
You thrive in environments where structure, clarity, and strategic thinking are prerequisites for success. You communicate with precision, build trust quickly, and challenge constructively. You combine analytical rigor with strong interpersonal skills and navigate effectively across a large, complex organization.
We expect you to have:
- +4 years of experience from a top-tier strategy consulting firm, providing you with a strong problem‑solving toolkit - ideally complemented by corporate experience
- A relevant M.Sc. degree within Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, supported by strong academic performance
- Proven ability to develop executive‑level communication materials
- Fluency in a Scandinavian language and English, written and spoken
Preferred, but not required:
- Industry experience following your consulting career
- Initial leadership experience or strong motivation to take on your first leadership role
You are curious, proactive, and motivated by creating clarity in ambiguity. Your ability to challenge, collaborate, and drive progress will be central to your success.
