About the teams

In our agile release trains, we work on creating insurance targeting private customers. We are responsible for developing the digital insurance platform and new insurance products together with Tryg Privat.  You will be part of one of our 16 strong Private IT Development teams distributed in two Agile Release Trains. We have both on-shore and off-shore developers. Our teams are characterized by an unpretentious culture, strong skills, and a positive atmosphere. We are now on the lookout for a Lead Developer for one of our mainframe teams.

About the role  

We are currently on the outlook for a Lead Developer who, together with the Integration Architect and the teams, can grow teams and team members across the ARTs. You will primarily work on mainframe programming in NATURAL/ADABAS developing and extending current solutions using the Eclipse based IDE, NaturaONE. Having knowledge and experience of data exchange technologies like REST, SOAP, microservices and EntireX is considered as being an advantage.

We are using GitLab/git as backbone for the development process, and it is hence a big advantage if you have knowledge of more modern development practices, toolchains and more.

About you 

You have in-depth knowledge of and experience in software development in general and being a strong advocate for modern development practices. Specifically, you have implemented solutions in close collaboration with the business.  Your colleagues consider you a technical wizard.

You can influence people by building relationships and drive modern development practices. You have technical leadership, set direction and support people in a balanced fashion by empowering individuals as a true servant leader.

It´s an extra plus if you come with a technical background from within the insurance business or FinTech in general and are aware of the ACORD model.
