About the job | Senior Project Manager - Business Finance Reporting & Data Standardization

As a Senior Project Manager within Tryg’s Strategy Execution team under the CFO office, you will lead end-to-end projects designed to reshape and optimize our finance reporting and data management capabilities.

Your focus areas will include:

• Driving the development of financial data management across the organization to ensure data integrity, accessibility, and consistency.
• Leading the maintenance, enhancement, and development of Power BI reporting tools to support timely and insightful business finance reporting.
• Overseeing internal performance management frameworks and cost reporting processes, delivering actionable insights that enable better financial stewardship and operational efficiency.
• Managing the delivery of Target Operating Model initiatives related to business finance reporting and analytics within the CFO area.
• Collaborating across Finance, IT, Business Units, and external partners to align on reporting standards, automation, and data governance best practices.
• Applying structured project governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement techniques to ensure timely, high-quality delivery aligned with Tryg’s strategic priorities.
• Leading change management and capability-building efforts to embed new reporting processes, tools, and data culture throughout the Nordic region.
• Acting as a mentor and advisor within the Strategy Execution portfolio, promoting a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making.

Location: Copenhagen, with significant collaboration across Nordic locations and occasional travel.

About you | Experienced senior project manager with strategic ambition

You bring 5+ years of proven experience managing finance transformation programs focused on business finance reporting, data management, and analytics platforms like Power BI. You thrive in complex, cross-functional environments and are passionate about combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery to transform how finance provides insights and drives performance.

Ideal qualifications:

• Senior Project Manager with 5+ years’ experience leading transformation projects in finance reporting, data standardization, and BI tool development, ideally within insurance, financial services, or similarly regulated industries.
• Strong expertise in Power BI or equivalent BI/reporting tools, including maintenance, development, and user enablement.
• Deep understanding of internal performance management and cost reporting frameworks to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Experience driving Target Operating Model (TOM) transformations and embedding new ways of working in finance.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and collaborate across diverse finance and IT teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English and fluency in one Scandinavian language (Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian).
• Educational background in Finance, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or related fields.
• A proactive, structured, and analytical leader with a drive to create sustainable impact through data and technology.
