Job Description: 

Are you ready to turn strategy into action and drive real impact? Join a central transformation team operating at the heart of Tryg’s strategic agenda in our Insurance Technical Excellence division (CTO). You will play a key role in delivering the initiatives that define our business in 2027 and beyond.

 

About the Role | Driving Strategic Execution 

As Strategic Transformation Manager, you will support the execution of key initiatives within Tryg’s 2027-strategy and beyond 2027. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure timely, effective delivery across areas such as Pricing, Products, Underwriting, and AI. 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives within our 2027-strategy and beyond, ensuring timely execution and measurable results 
  • Managing project timelines, tracking progress, and stakeholder updates 
  • Collaborating with senior leaders and project leaders to translate strategic goals into actionable plans 
  • Identifying and solving challenges to maintain momentum 
  • Conducting data analysis and preparing executive-level presentations 

As part of the CTO area, you will work in an environment where business-critical initiatives are shaped and executed across the organisation. Our work spans key disciplines such as data, AI, pricing, product development, and portfolio management – all areas with significant group-wide impact and direct influence on how we evolve our business and serve our customers. 

‘Insurance technical excellence’ is one of the main pillars in Tryg’s overall strategy, and as part of our central transformation team, you will be operating at the forefront of Tryg’s strategic agenda, helping deliver high-priority initiatives that shape the future of the business. Over the past year, the team has driven several key projects within pricing excellence, including a major discount management initiative where we partnered with external experts while coordinating closely with business units to ensure sustainable business value tailored to a Tryg context. 

 

About You | Consulting and/or Financial Sector Experience 

We are looking for a proactive and analytical professional who has: 

  • From a minimum of two years of full‑time experience, including 1–2 years in management consulting, investment banking, or a comparable field (the latter is a requirement for consideration)
  • Experience from large corporations (preferably in the financial sector) is a plus 
  • A master’s degree in economics, business, or a related field, with strong academic results 
  • A practical and focused approach – you are detail-oriented, take initiative, and have a proven ability to tackle complex challenges effortlessly 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills – you communicate effectively and build trust at all levels of the organization 
  • Excellent communication skills – you can translate insights into clear, executive-level presentations 
  • Fluency in English and a Scandinavian language (Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian), both written and spoken, is required

The CTO division is a relatively new and strategically important area within Tryg, established to strengthen our ‘insurance technical excellence’ and accelerate a more data-driven business across the group. With a strong focus on the core of insurance (e.g., pricing and underwriting), the division plays a central role in ensuring Tryg’s long-term competitiveness and driving the company’s transformation journey forward.
