Job Description:

Shape the future of data at one of Scandinavia’s largest insurers. As a Strategy Consultant in Tryg’s new Data Strategy & Governance team, you’ll help build a strategic function from the ground up and influence how data, analytics, and AI are used at scale across Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. If you’re motivated by strategic problem‑solving, cross‑organizational collaboration, and the opportunity to leave a real mark on a growing area, this role offers a rare chance to accelerate your career and contribute to meaningful transformation.

About the role | Strategy Consultant at Data Strategy & Governance

We are building a new strategy and governance team within our Chief Data Office, and we’re looking for a Strategy Consultant to help shape it from the ground up. If you are fueled by the intersection of analytical data, strategy, and transformation, this could be the right opportunity for you.

This role offers an unparalleled opportunity to accelerate your career by working on transformational projects and engaging with Tryg’s data users across Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. You will be contributing directly to the development and execution of Tryg’s data strategy and how data, analytics, and AI are used at scale.

What we offer

  • An opportunity to develop your consulting toolbox through hands-on involvement in strategic projects and learn how large organizations work with analytical data at scale
  • An environment that prioritizes personal and professional growth with a strong feedback culture and team-driven learning sessions
  • Broad exposure to a wide range of colleagues - both technical and non-technical - giving you a unique opportunity to build relationships across Tryg
  • A role in a team defined by an informal tone, openness, and a genuine emphasis on social well-being
  • Key responsibilities include:
    • Partnering with data domains teams and business units to understand data needs and translate them into clear strategic initiatives
    • Contributing to the development of frameworks and best practices for how analytical data is used and governed across Tryg
    • Taking ownership of your workstreams and driving them independently, including giving constructive feedback to colleagues
    • Engaging with senior stakeholders and building trusted relationships across the organization to ensure alignment and impact

About you | A team player

You are an ambitious, motivated, and proactive team player who contributes positively to a collaborative work environment. You hold a strong academic record from a relevant master’s degree – such as economics, business, political science, engineering, IT, or a related field - and you are comfortable working with tools like Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience from consulting, corporate strategy, or similar roles is an advantage, though not a requirement. Fluency in Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish, along with professional proficiency in English - both written and spoken - is essential.

You bring strong interpersonal skills and feel confident engaging with a wide range of stakeholders across the organization. With a structured approach, an analytical mindset, and a solid understanding of data, you communicate clearly and present your ideas with confidence and impact.

Your sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and critical thinking make you a reliable colleague. You work effectively both independently and in teams, and you actively seek out diverse perspectives to strengthen the quality of your work. Most importantly, you are eager to learn and contribute to our shared development and feedback culture.

Experience with AI, analytics, data engineering, analytical platforms, or large-scale transformations is considered a plus.
