About the Role | Your Role in Strategic Projects
As a Student Analyst, you will work closely with consultants and project leaders who bring experience from tier‑one consultancies (such as McKinsey and BCG), other C25 companies, and leading universities. You will build a strong consultant toolbox through hands‑on project work, continuous sparring, and meaningful responsibility. Your professional and personal development is our highest priority, and you will be part of an ambitious team committed to helping you grow.
The expected contribution is approximately 20 hours per week, with flexibility around exams.
Your tasks and responsibilities on projects may include:
- Conducting structured analyses and synthesize data to support strategic and commercial decision-making
- Developing presentation material to clearly communicate insights and shape recommendations for senior Tryg executives
- Independently driving project workstreams with support from senior consultants
Your Profile | A Curious and Proactive Student
We are looking for curious and motivated students who thrive in a team setting and are eager to grow. We value your mindset and approach to problem‑solving more than your specific academic background, and we therefore welcome applications from students across all disciplines. You are ideally well underway in your bachelor’s degree or in the early stages of your master’s. Since we work in small, close‑knit teams across a variety of projects, we look for three qualities in particular:
Curiosity. You have a genuine appetite for learning and are energized by complex, open-ended problems. You actively seek out and challenge perspectives and are open to giving and receiving feedback.
Ambition. You are driven by responsibility and motivated by real impact. You take ownership of your work from day one and are comfortable managing tasks independently at an early stage. You set high standards for yourself and for the quality of your output, while remaining a collaborative and engaged team member.
Structured thinking. You have a sharp eye for detail and feel confident tackling analytical tasks in a structured and methodical way. You approach ambiguity with a logical mindset, creating structure to enable smarter, faster decisions.
Ideally, you bring strong social and academic abilities, and experience from previous student jobs or student organizations is also highly valued.
Fluency in Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish, along with professional-level proficiency in English, both verbal and written, is required. Prior experience with PowerPoint and Excel is an advantage.
