About the job | Senior Project Manager – Specialized Finance & Contract Management

As Senior Project Manager within Tryg’s Strategy Execution team under the CFO office, you will lead end-to-end transformation programs that enhance and consolidate Specialized Finance capabilities across the Nordic region. You will be responsible for managing complex projects across multiple finance dimensions, including but not limited to:

• Leading a project team working on strategic Target Operating Model transitions and transformation projects related to Tax planning and compliance, Capital and Solvency Planning, Investments and Treasury management, Investor Relations, and Statutory & Regulatory reporting.
• Driving, following up, and executing on initiatives within Contract Management and Location Strategy topics as integral parts of the CFO area’s contribution to the broader corporate strategy.
• Managing project governance, risk, stakeholder engagement, and delivery quality to ensure alignment with Tryg’s corporate and finance strategies.
• Collaborating closely with subject matter experts across Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, IT, and external advisors to embed best practices and operational excellence.
• Leading change management, communication efforts, and capability-building workshops to ensure smooth adoption and sustainable transformation within Tryg’s Nordic offices.
• Acting as a mentor and advisor within the Strategy Execution portfolio, fostering a culture of strategic impact, innovation, and continuous learning.

Location: Copenhagen, with a role that involves strong collaboration across the Nordic region, including occasional travel.

About you | Experienced Senior Project Manager with strategic ambition

To excel in this role, you bring 5 years of hands-on project management experience, preferably in strategic finance transformation within large, matrixed organizations or top-tier consulting. You understand how to navigate the complexities of finance functions and have a proven ability to engage senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical outcomes.

Ideal qualifications:

• Proven Senior Project Manager with 5+ years leading finance transformation projects

• Strong problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to break down complex projects into ambitious milestones and actionable project plans

• Structured and proactive in approach, ensuring smooth communication and alignment across leadership, peers, and project team
• Ability to identify potential risks and work with project team to suggest mitigating actions to executive leadership
• Experience with Contract Management initiatives and/or Location Strategy as part of finance or corporate transformation is desirable
• Strong influencing and indirect leadership capabilities, demonstrated through successful engagement of complex stakeholder landscapes and effective collaboration with both senior executives and operational teams
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and a Scandinavian language (Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian)
• Educated in Business, Finance, Economics, Law, or related fields, combining analytical rigor with strategic insight
• You are a proactive, structured, and decisive leader who thrives in ambiguity and is motivated by delivering lasting business impact
