About the role  

In our integration team we specifically work on creating connections between our business applications, user interfaces and third-party collaborators.

This helps our colleagues who supports Tryg´s customers by providing seamless integrations between business applications and helping business describe and understand their needs. We do this through assessment and design of new integrations, as well as maintaining high quality implementations.

The team consists of the nicest and most competent colleagues in the Nordics – architects, developers, and integration specialists. You will be working at our offices in Bergen, in close collaboration with colleagues in Copenhagen, Malmö and offshore consultants and partners.

As a Senior Integration Architect your core tasks will be:

• Collaborate with ARTs and business units to understand and document integration requirements.
• Work closely with integration developers to implement solutions, ensuring adherence to Tryg integration standards.
• Model data entities within our common data model and contribute to process improvements for better quality and faster time to market.
• Develop a deep understanding of Tryg applications and business over time.
• Ideally, bring hands-on integration development experience to complement architectural oversight for seamless and efficient solutions.

About you

You have experience working at the intersection of Business and IT, with strong skills in expressing requirements in both business and IT vocabularies. You are adept at gathering information from various stakeholders and using it to describe end-to-end solutions. You also have experience building solutions involving third-party data providers and consumers.

You will be exposed to a tech stack that includes IBM integration stack (API Connect, IBM Integration Bus/App Connect Enterprise, Datapower), monitoring tools (Splunk), design and testing tools (XML Spy, Postman, SOAP UI), and collaboration tools (Confluence, Miro, Jira).

Familiarity with Java is beneficial, while understanding integration patterns, design principles, and best practices is essential, as this stack will be a part of your everyday work life, and what you don’t know – we are not afraid of teaching you.
