Guidewire Tech Lead to Nordic Digital Claims

About the role | Technical Lead for Guidewire

In our Nordic Claims Hub development teams, we specifically work on designing, developing, and maintaining robust, efficient, and customer-centric claim systems that streamline the claims process, enhance user experience, and ensure accuracy and compliance. As a Tech Lead, it will be your responsibility to help set the direction for Guidewire development. You build it, you run it.

The team consists of different agile roles, where we enhance insurance working processes for Scandinavian business areas. We have teams in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and India, and this Tech Lead role will be placed in our Malmö Hyllie office.

We imagine your core tasks will be:

• Overseeing the day-to-day technical work of the team, ensuring quality and adherence to standards.
• Continuously improving the team’s deliverables with the correct pipeline, patterns, and code quality.
• Leading by example, being a role model for others, and promoting experimentation and learning from failures.
• Mentoring the developers and facilitating collaboration within the team.
• Collaborating closely with the Solution Architect.
• Ensuring collaboration within the technical domain and supporting the Tech Leads in other teams.
• Ensuring transparency to empower the developers in their development.
• Addressing technical challenges and making decisions on implementation strategies.

About you | Strong competence in Guidewire, React and Apache Camel

Ideally, you have hands-on Guidewire knowledge. If not, we will provide a certification path for you. We are open to different backgrounds, but we hope you bring hands-on experience in React and Apache Camel to join our team.

You will work on designing, implementing, and maintaining robust Guidewire solutions while integrating middleware using Apache Camel and building modern, user-friendly interfaces with React. Experience with AWS Cloud technologies is an advantage, as you will help modernize and deploy scalable insurance solutions. Business understanding and empathy are essential to bringing development, operations, security, and business closer together.

Guidewire is Trygg-Hansa’s new claim handling system which supports our claim handlers and customers through their claims journey. We are now looking for a Guidewire Tech Lead in our Nordic Digital Claims Hub, located in Malmö, Sweden.
