About the role | Business Partner to CTO
As our new Business Partner to the CTO, you will support our Chief Technical Officer in setting and executing strategic priorities across the entire Tryg Group. This role will provide you with unparalleled insight into the key decisions, opportunities, and challenges faced by a C-suite leadership team, helping you acquire valuable industry knowledge and build a strong network within Tryg.
The CTO at Tryg is responsible for core insurance disciplines, including underwriting, pricing, reinsurance, data & analytics, and AI—offering you a strong platform to gain deep expertise in the insurance business.
In addition to supporting the CTO, you will serve as a sparring partner to the Head of the Executive Office and be responsible for preparing content for the Executive Board, major leadership gatherings, and large cross-functional development initiatives. Furthermore, you will drive and coordinate key strategic projects and initiatives across the organization.
Overall, this role will give you broad exposure to various disciplines within insurance, as well as direct interaction with the full Tryg Executive Board and top management team.

Key responsibilities which include:
- Supporting the CTO in defining and executing Tryg’s top priorities, including staying ahead of the curve when it comes to upcoming priorities, supporting with communication materials, and driving the CTO leadership team
- Preparing decision materials and presentations for the Executive Board and Tryg’s Board of Directors
- Leading strategic projects and initiatives through a structured approach to problem-solving and project management, leveraging strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Taking ownership of your responsibilities and driving them independently, including delegating tasks and providing guidance and feedback to student assistants
- Engaging with senior stakeholders and building trusted relationships across the organization
About you | A team player
You are ambitious, motivated, and a proactive team player. You have a strong academic record from a relevant master’s degree in economics, business, political science, engineering, IT, or a similar field. You are proficient in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
The ideal candidate has a professional background in consulting, corporate strategy, or a similar field, along with hands-on experience working with top management or C-level executives in a large corporation. Fluency in Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish, as well as professional-level proficiency in English—both verbal and written—is required.
You have excellent interpersonal skills and are comfortable engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders across the organization. With a structured approach, an analytical mindset, and a solid understanding of data, you are a compelling communicator and a natural presenter.
Your experience and grounded nature enable you to provide candid advice to senior executives, and you are confident in bringing your perspective to the table, helping to prioritize effectively. You demonstrate maturity and sound judgment, allowing you to navigate complex situations and influence decision-making at the highest levels.
Your strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills make you a reliable colleague. You can work independently while also thriving in a team setting, actively seeking out and challenging the perspectives of your colleagues.
About us | Executive Office
Tryg Forsikring is Scandinavia's leading non-life insurance company, operating in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, serving over 6 million customers across both private and commercial segments.
Our Executive Office team consists of approximately 10 colleagues with backgrounds from Tier-1 consulting firms and C25 companies and acts as a trusted advisor to the Executive Board in leading Tryg. We work in a structured manner to ensure alignment between decisions made by Tryg’s Executive Board and Board of Directors and their implementation in the business.
The Executive Office is part of SIME (Group Strategy, Innovation & Prevention, Executive Office, and M&A), which is the beating heart of strategy and business advisory at Tryg, with a team of approximately 50 colleagues. We are responsible for driving high-priority decisions with group-wide impact, ensuring that Tryg remains at the forefront of the industry.
