About the role | Data Engineering & Analytics Specialist in IT Reporting & Data Transparency
Data Transparency is a strategic initiative within Tryg’s Transformation Office, aiming to create end-to-end visibility of our IT landscape and deliver actionable insights through advanced reporting and analytics.
As a Data Engineer with analytics skills, you will design and implement data pipelines and models that power dashboards and reporting solutions for IT performance and governance. You will collaborate closely with dashboard developers and business analysts to ensure data accuracy, scalability, and relevance.
Your main focus areas:
- Lead backend development in Microsoft Azure
- Build and maintain data pipelines from diverse sources
- Offer technical guidance and insights to front-end and business analysis teams
- Drive continuous improvements and adapt quickly to changing priorities
About you | Analytical, Collaborative and Business-Oriented
You are proactive, detail-oriented, and thrive in dynamic environments where data drives decisions. You can bridge technical and business perspectives and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
To succeed, you bring:
- 3–5 years of experience in data engineering or similar roles
- Proficiency in SQL, APIs, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Python, Git
- Experience with data modeling and integration using Power BI
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in English and a Scandinavian language
Nice-to-have: Familiarity with enterprise systems such as SAP, Ariba, and SuccessFactors (learn on the job).
