About the job | Strategic leadership & executive support
As Head of Executive Office and Business Partner to the CEO, you will play a central role in enabling effective decision-making and ensuring progress on the strategic agenda. You will be responsible for structuring and driving key processes that support the CEO and Executive Board, while also contributing to the implementation of group-wide initiatives.
Overall, this role will give you broad exposure to various disciplines within insurance, as well as direct interaction with the full Tryg Executive Board and top management team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a trusted advisor to the CEO with strategic sparring, while ensuring alignment and progress on critical priorities
- Preparing and delivering high-quality presentations and decision material for the CEO, Executive Board, and Tryg’s Board of Directors
- Taking ownership of your responsibilities while leading your team of 10 FTEs. This includes delegating tasks, providing guidance and feedback, and fostering strong collaboration
- Coordinating strategic efforts with cross-organizational impact
- Planning and facilitating executive meetings and seminars, ensuring clear agendas, structured follow-up, and actionable outcomes
- Conducting research and analysis on industry trends, competitors, and strategic opportunities

About you | Ambitious, structured, and collaborative
Success in this role requires a strong mix of analytical skills, business acumen, a commercial mindset, and interpersonal capabilities. You thrive in dynamic environments, are motivated by responsibility, and have the ability to translate complex information into clear actions.
Critical requirements:
- Minimum of 3–4 years’ experience at a leading strategy consulting firm, ideally combined with commercial experience from corporate or a start-up environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure complex issues
- Strong proficiency in written and spoken English and Danish communication
- Excellent academic record from a relevant master’s degree in economics, business, political science, or a similar field
It is an advantage if you also:
- Have hands-on experience working with top management or C-level executives in a large corporation
- Possess experience in leading people and projects across multiple stakeholders
- Bring knowledge of the insurance or financial services industry
Your experience and grounded nature enable you to provide candid sparring to senior executives, helping to prioritize effectively. You demonstrate maturity and sound judgment, allowing you to navigate complex situations and influence decision-making at the highest levels.
