About the job | Project Manager – Strategy Execution
In this role, you will support Senior Project Managers to deliver Project structure and value to senior stakeholders, but also take the lead on well-defined parts of large-scale strategic projects. Your work will directly influence how Tryg navigates its strategic transformation journey, improving financial clarity, operational efficiency, and governance standards across the organization.
You will be involved in:
- Managing and delivering complex, cross-functional projects aligned with Tryg’s strategic priorities and financial objectives
- Taking ownership of specific project streams, coordinating activities, milestones, and stakeholder communication
- Collaborating closely within the Finance area, Business Units, and executive stakeholders to maintain alignment and transparency
- Supporting the development of governance frameworks, improved reporting processes, and cultural change initiatives
- Driving continuous improvement through structured methodologies and data-informed decision-making
Location: Copenhagen. The role involves significant Nordic collaboration, including occasional travel to other offices.
About you | Experienced project manager with strategic ambition
To succeed in this role, you bring more than 3 years of hands-on project management experience, ideally from a top-tier consulting firm or a similarly demanding environment where strategic thinking and stakeholder engagement are essential. You have a strong track record of delivering projects that generate tangible business value, and you are eager to further deepen your expertise in strategic finance transformations.
Ideal qualifications:
- 3+ years of project management experience supporting or leading strategic and operational initiatives, preferably with exposure to financial or insurance services and transformation programmes
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Strategy, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of financial governance, reporting, and key business value drivers
- Proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at various levels within complex organizations
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
- Fluent in English and a Scandinavian language (Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian)
You are a clear communicator, a skilled facilitator, and have an analytical mindset. You take ownership, work in a structured way, and are motivated by creating a lasting impact.
