About the Role | Governance and Communication
Join our Group IT Security team, where we play a critical role in ensuring information security across Tryg Group from a 2nd line of defense position.
As a Senior Infosec Specialist, you will combine a tactical and strategic outlook with deep expertise in governance, IT security technologies, architecture, technical vulnerabilities, and information security risks.
Your contributions will be instrumental in:
· Maintaining and evolving our Information Security policy while driving strategic initiatives that strengthen and mature IT security
· Measuring infosec maturity, performing risk assessments, and delivering insightful reports to key stakeholders
· Leading oversight activities, both through formalized control processes and active involvement in projects. You will also help design and implement tool-supported controls to elevate our security capabilities
· Creating awareness across the organization to promote strong cybersecurity behavior
Additionally, you will play a key role in management reporting, transforming complex oversight activities into clear, actionable insights that help prioritize security efforts and drive informed decision-making.
Our team consists of 17 highly skilled professionals across Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. We hold ourselves to high standards, continuously strive to exceed expectations, and foster a collaborative, engaging, and fun work environment.
Although we belong to the IT Department (Business IT & Digitalization), our stakeholders span the entire Tryg Group, particularly colleagues in business areas reliant on Information Systems.
About You | Strong Competencies in IT Security Management Systems
We welcome diverse backgrounds and experiences. Ideally, you have solid expertise in Information Security Management Systems and infosec strategy development, along with knowledge of ISO 27000/01/02, CIS, and NIST Cybersecurity Frameworks.
You are passionate about keeping up with technical developments, emerging threats, and evolving risks, ensuring Tryg stays ahead in cybersecurity.
Key competencies we are looking for:
· ISMS implementation (Information Security Management Systems)
· Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate infosec messages effectively across all levels
· Infosec governance, strategy-making, and policymaking expertise
· Experience developing and implementing awareness programs
· Technical proficiency in communication and control tools such as the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) and compliance tools (e.g., OneTrust)
You understand that security serves the business, not the other way around. You bring strong facilitation and communication skills, enabling productive collaboration across departments. With your business mindset, you ensure that IT security aligns with corporate goals, helping the organization navigate risks while staying agile and innovative.
