About the job | Senior Strategy Consultant

As our new Senior Strategy Consultant, you will be working in project-based teams alongside colleagues with backgrounds from top-tier consulting firms, investment banks, C25 companies, and other teams in Tryg.

You will be contributing directly to the development and execution of Tryg’s strategic initiatives, and at the forefront of shaping and supporting the strategic priorities of our Executive Board.

  • Key responsibilities which include:
    • Full ownership of your own workstreams, including scoping, planning, stakeholder management, implementation, and reporting
    • Conducting both quantitative and qualitative analyses to inform strategic recommendations
    • Engaging with senior stakeholders and building trusting work relationships
    • An equal focus on long-term impact as well as driving day-to-day execution to help our Business Units reach their targets.

 

About you | A Professional Background in Consulting, Corporate Strategy, or Business Development

To be successful in this job, you are an ambitious, motivated, and proactive team player. You hold a relevant master’s degree in business, economics, political science, engineering, IT, or a similar field, and you bring a strong academic foundation to the table. You have a professional background in consulting, corporate strategy, business development, or similar, with a minimum of two years’ experience after graduation.

 

Fluency in Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish, along with professional-level proficiency in English, both verbal and written, is required. Ideally, you are well-acquainted with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel and PowerPoint.

We imagine that you have a great set of people skills and are comfortable engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders across the organization. Combined with a good sense of structure, an analytical mindset, and a solid understanding of data, you are a compelling communicator and an efficient “do’er”.

 

Your sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills make you a reliable colleague. As such, you can both work highly independently and in a team setting, where you actively seek out and challenge the perspectives of your colleagues. Most importantly, you are eager to learn and contribute actively to our team’s shared development and feedback culture.

Our team works to identify and scale best practice experience within our commercial disciplines across our Business Units. We act as in-house consultants and work extremely close together with the business to execute on our strategic priorities.

Our wider department (Group Strategy, ComEx, Innovation & Prevention, Executive Office, and M&A) is the beating heart of strategy at Tryg. We are responsible for driving decisions at the top of the agenda for our Executive Board and with group-wide implications, ensuring that Tryg stays at the forefront of the industry.

 

We are a new team in rapid development, and you will be a central part of building this next big success in Tryg.
