Senior Account Manager, Tryg UK

The Position | Cooperation and Responsibility

As a Senior Account Manager at Tryg UK, you will play a pivotal role within our Surety team. Your responsibilities will be diverse and impactful, ensuring the growth and stability of our client relationships and business operations. Your tasks will include:

  • Managing an existing portfolio of surety clients, ranging from SMEs to multinationals.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through your network, self-prospecting, and attending networking events.
  • Collaborating with European colleagues to enhance both existing and new business relationships.
  • Actively participating in UK risk committee discussions and ongoing portfolio monitoring.

 

This is a hybrid role based in our UK office in Moorgate, London. A typical week will involve time in the London office, working from home, and attending client and prospect meetings across the UK.

 

About You | Teamwork & Entrepreneurship

The ideal candidate will exhibit a client-focused mindset, exceptional teamwork skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for business and positive client outcomes.

 

Qualifications and Expectations:

  • Over five years of experience in the surety industry, whether as a broker or underwriter.
  • Expertise in bond wording.
  • Strong underwriting and risk management skills.
  • Client-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in IT and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel to meet clients and prospects across the UK.
